I have had no luck getting a fader to work at all. And it always eventually crashes OBS if I attempt to map any MIDI. It seems to save the setting, but if I restart the app, at best I will get one successful button push before it stops working again. I can usually successfully leave that menu, but the controller will only work once at most before OBS crashes.
It typically reads controller # 666 in the controller number window when it locks up. If it helps at all, I can only get one thing mapped before the config menu freezes. I'm dead in the water until it's working - any idea how soon you'll have it ready for prime time? You seem to be nearly there. MIDI would solve the problem if I provisioned my controller in both applications, but mapped different duties to the controls. So it's useless for VJ'ing and scene switching on a live stream at the same time on two apps. QWERTY hotkeys are a drag since they will only work on the application in the foreground. The concept is pretty straightforward and the idea that I could use the same controller to trigger both Resolume Arena and OBS on the same computer is pretty awesome.
